Dr. Berman has served as a member of our board of directors since April 2006. Since January 2005, Dr. Berman has served as President and Chief Executive Officer of the Michael A. Berman Group, Inc., a consulting firm specializing in the healthcare industry. Since January 2005, Dr. Berman has also served as a consultant for Stockamp and Associates, Inc., a business process consulting firm specializing in the healthcare industry. From October 1999 to January 2005, Dr. Berman served as Executive Vice President and Director of New York Presbyterian Hospital, and from September 1997 to October 1999 as its Senior Vice President and Chief Medical Officer. From April 1984 to September 1997, he served as Professor and Chairman of the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Maryland School of Medicine. Dr. Berman holds a M.D. from the State University of New York, Syracuse. |
