Michael A. Todman has been president, Whirlpool North America since June 2007 and a member of the board of directors of Whirlpool Corporation since January 2006. Prior to that he served as president, Whirlpool International, a position he held from January 2006 to June 2007.
Todman was executive vice present and president of Whirlpool Europe from October 2001 through December 2005. From March 2001 to October 2001, he served as executive vice president, Whirlpool North America.
Todman began his career with Whirlpool in 1993. From 1993 to 2001, he held a number of roles at Whirlpool, including senior vice president, Sales and Marketing, Whirlpool North America; vice president, Sears Sales and Marketing, Whirlpool North America; vice president, Product Management, Whirlpool North America; controller, Whirlpool North America; vice president, Consumer Services, Whirlpool Europe; and director, Finance, Whirlpool United Kingdom.
Prior to joining Whirlpool, Todman held a variety of leadership positions at Wang Laboratories Inc., and Price Waterhouse and Co.
Todman currently serves on the board of directors of Newell-Rubbermaid, Georgetown University and the Economic Club of Southwestern Michigan. He also is a member of the Loyola University Council of Regents.
A native of St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands, Todman holds a bachelor's degree in business administration from Georgetown University. |
