Experience:
Michael Molano is a registered patent attorney whose practice focuses on intellectual property (IP) litigation, patent prosecution, and transactional IP matters. For 15 years, Michael has represented clients engaged in IP litigation and patent prosecution matters across a broad spectrum of technical fields, including semiconductor processes and devices, software, business methods, telecommunications, and medical devices.
More recently, Michael has also devoted a substantial amount of his practice on corporate IP matters. He has drafted, negotiated and advised clients on IP aspects of transactions in the context of mergers and acquisitions, as well as in IP licensing matters.
Michael has been with Mayer Brown since 2003. He is a native Colombian and is fully conversant in Spanish.
