Michael Greeley is the Founder and a Managing General Partner of IDG Ventures Boston. From early and later stage financing for emerging growth companies to acquisitions, restructurings and management buyouts, Mr. Greeley has more than 15 years of investment experience working for leading venture capital and investment banking institutions including Polaris Venture Partners, GCC Investments, Wasserstein Perella & Co., and Morgan Stanley & Co. Mr. Greeley currently serves on the boards of BlueTarp, Predictive Biosciences, Protein Forest and VidSys and led the firm’s investment in T2 Biosystems and Magen BioSciences. He previously served on the Boards of a number of public and private companies including Global TeleSystems Group, El Sitio International, MotherNature.com, Crescent Communications, Fleetcor Technologies, where he also served as interim CEO, and American Capital Access. He also serves on the Board of Directors for the New England Venture Capital Association, is a member of the Executive Business Advisory Council for Mass General Hospital for Children, and trustee of the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary. Mr. Greeley earned a BA with honors in Chemistry from Williams College and an MBA from Harvard Business School. |
