Mr. Collins is a founding member of Woodward Capital Advisors where his primary role is in the areas of mergers and acquisitions and private placements of debt and equity. Prior to starting Woodward Capital Advisors, Mr. Collins was employed as a Director with Equity Partners, Ltd., a private investment bank and buyout group where he worked in the corporate finance area. At Equity Partners, Mr. Collins worked on both buy-side and sell-side engagements as well as the private placements of debt and equity. Prior to Equity Partners, Mr. Collins spent eight years working with and financing mid market companies as a Vice President in corporate banking with Comerica Bank. As a mid market lender, he had broad exposure to a wide range of companies spanning manufacturing, distribution and service industries in both automotive and non-automotive disciplines and underwrote numerous acquisitions, recapitalizations and management buyouts. He has an MBA in Finance and a BA in Economics, both from the University of Michigan. |
