Michael A. Coakley is a Director in the Audit and Accounting group at Kreischer Miller and has over twenty years of auditing, tax, and consulting experience in many different industry groups, including manufacturing and distribution, construction contractors, professional service firms and not-for-profits.
Mike received a Bachelor of Science degree from Penn State University, where he graduated with Honors in Accounting with Distinction. He began his career at KPMG Peat Marwick in Philadelphia, before joining Hege Kramer Connell Murphy & Goldkamp, P.C. in 1992, where he focused on serving the accounting, tax and business advisory needs of his privately-held clients, while effectuating the training and continuing education of the firm's professional staff. Mike is licensed as a CPA in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, and is currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration degree from DeSales University.
He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and is active in the North Penn Chamber of Commerce.
Mike is an active member of Mary, Mother of the Redeemer parish in North Wales, PA, where he serves as an assistant leader in the parish's scouting program (member of Boy Scouts of America - Cradle of Liberty Council). He also serves on the board of directors of VNA-Community Services, Inc. in Abington, PA and the Archbishop Wood High School Alumni Association.
Mike is proud to be a Life Member of the Penn State Alumni Association since 1988 and is an avid supporter of Penn State academics and athletics. |
