Michael A. Brown is the former Chairman of the Board for Quantum Corporation. Mr. Brown joined Quantum in 1984 and held a series of management positions with ever-increasing responsibilities before becoming CEO in 1995 and chairman in 1998. During his seven-year tenure as CEO, Mr. Brown led Quantum to record sales and profits and a quadrupling of its market value. In addition to EqualLogic, Mr. Brown continues to serve on the board of Quantum and also serves on the boards of Symantec Corporation, makers of security and storage software, Nektar Therapeutics, a public drug delivery company, and Line 6, a private company incorporating signal processing technology into audio gear, where he serves as Chairman. |
