Description of Practice: Michael A. Alvarado is a partner in the firm's Orange County office. Mr. Alvarado's practice involves all aspects of real estate transactions, including acquisitions and dispositions of individual properties as well as multi-property, portfolio transactions, construction, development and leasing of office, industrial and retail properties, and real estate secured lending. In particular, he has extensive experience in representing landlords and tenants in "big box" industrial leases and sales, multi-floor office leases, as well as representing both borrowers and lenders in permanent, construction, mezzanine and other real estate secured loans. Mr. Alvarado represents a wide range of clients, including institutional developers, landlords, tenants, lenders, asset managers, and other regional and local real estate enterprises.
He is a member of the State Bar of California (and the Real Property Law subsection of the State Bar), the American Bar Association and the Orange County Bar Association. He is also a current member of the Legislative Committee of the National Association of Industrial and Office Parks (Orange County Chapter), which also serves as NAIOP's local Political Action Committee.
