In 1993 Mia Dempsey joined CST to facilitate the creation of CST MicroSystems as a new division dedicated to Information Technology (IT) hardware and software sales. After working in various sales and management positions in the MicroSystems division, Mia turned her focus to IT service sales and marketing. She successfully negotiated and assisted in oversight of the first seat management service contract for the division in 1997. Since 1997, Mia has worked to expand project-based services and fixed price service agreements provided to commercial clients in the Southeast. In addition to negotiating new service sales, she is responsible for contract renewals, and provides various contract management functions for the division. Mia holds Citrix and Novell sales certifications, and maintains industry certifications with Cisco, Citrix, Microsoft and Novell for the company. She also provides consulting and project management services to clients to streamline business processes and manage special projects. With the creation of StreetLight, the commercial IT services division, in 2002, Mia began providing marketing services, including image creation, new marketing collateral conception, web site content development, as well as public relations. Mia works to ensure that client expectations are properly set before, during and after the sale and to continually provide solutions that ensure technology will benefit the business’ bottom line. |
