In addition to counseling them on general corporate matters, he assists clients with such transactional needs as public securities offerings, mergers and acquisitions and venture capital financings. Investment management counseling is a particular focus of Meyer’s practice. He helps investment advisers with the formation of onshore and offshore hedge funds and other private investment funds, and provides them with regulatory compliance advice. Before attending law school, Meyer was a project manager at a consulting firm that focused on the technology industry.
