Meryl S. Rosenblatt has a general transactional practice, including mergers and acquisitions, private equity financings, domestic and international joint ventures, commercial contracts, and employment matters. Ms. Rosenblatt's recent transactions include representation of a major credit card issuer in connection with the formation of strategic alliances and private equity investments in high-tech companies; representation of a public company in connection with the restructuring of its multimillion-dollar Slovenian credit facility, sale of its equity interests in a Croatian joint venture, and the proposed acquisition of telecommunications assets in Europe; representation of a public company in connection with the formation and continuing operation of several multibillion-dollar joint ventures; and representation of a public company in connection with the issuance of, and structuring various transactions under, its public debt. In addition, Ms. Rosenblatt has represented highly compensated executives in connection with their employment and severance arrangements.
Ms. Rosenblatt graduated summa cum laude from the State University of New York at Albany in 1989. She received her law degree in 1992 from New York University School of Law, where she was Articles Editor of the Annual Survey of American Law. She previously practiced at Rubin Baum Levin Constant & Friedman.
