Mervin Dunn has been with the Commercial Vehicle Group
family of companies since 1999 and has lead the company
as president and CEO since 2001. Prior to joining CVG he
was president and CEO of Bliss Technologies a heavy metal
stamper.
Dunn has more than 25 years of experience in the automotive
and heavy duty trucking industry. He served in various
roles during his tenure at Arvin Industries from 1988-1998
departing as president of Arvin Ride Control. While at Arvin
Ride Control he served as vice president of operating systems
and lead the development of the Arvin Total Quality
Production System. His efforts led to subsequent program
implementation in six languages 13 countries and 50 operations.
Prior to joining Arvin Dunn served with Johnson Controls
Automotive Group where he was instrumental in establishing
the first just-in-time seating plant in North America.
Dunn began his management and manufacturing career with
Hyster Corporation a manufacturer of heavy lift trucks.
While at Hyster Dunn held various positions in engineering
and quality.
Dunn holds a Master of Science degree in Operations from
Eastern Kentucky University. |
