Merle is a partner in our Tax Services Group and is located our Reading office Professional Experience Merle has spent the last 27 years as a practicing tax accountant, six of which were with an international accounting firm. Merle oversees the firm's Tax Services Group, as well as having responsibility for providing tax planning services to many of our corporate, partnership and individual clients. He has developed strategies for minimizing federal, state and local taxes, and to evaluate tax alternatives and consequences of transactions and business decisions. Merle has provided representation before and requested rulings from the Internal Revenue Service and state taxing authorities. He is also a frequent presenter at statewide conferences and various business community functions.
