Dr. Sharoky served as President of Watson Pharmaceuticals from 1995-1998, and he served as President of two of Watson's subsidiaries, Somerset Pharmaceuticals (1995-Present) and Circa Pharmaceuticals (1993-1998). Dr. Sharoky started his career with Circa Pharmaceuticals in 1998 as Medical Director. In 1991, he was promoted to Senior Vice President; he was then promoted to Executive Vice President in 1992. Before joining Circa, Dr. Sharoky was Vice President and Chief Medical Officer of PharmaKinetics Laboratories, Inc. Dr. Sharoky received his B.A. in Biology from the University of Maryland where he graduated Cum Laude. He continued his education at the University of Maryland School of Medicine where he graduated Cum Laude. Dr. Sharoky is a diplomat of the American Board of Emergency Medicine and the American Board of Internal Medicine. Dr. Sharoky is on the Board of Directors at Andrx Pharmaceuticals, where he serves as an Executive Director. He is also on the board of Boron LePore, and he is an owner and board member of Learnwright, a private company specializing in computer based regulatory compliance training. Dr. Sharoky was elected to Insmed's Board of Directors in July of 2001.
