Mel has over 35 years of public accounting experience servicing a broad client base of both private and public companies. Mel brings to the firm significant depth in accounting, auditing and taxation, mergers and acquisitions and financial consulting. Mel is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the New York and New Jersey State Societies of Certified Public Accountants. Mel's professional career includes national firm experience and partnership in a regional firm. Mel has taught Federal taxation and auditing at Rutgers University and has been the chairman of the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants Committee for Computer Usage and Data Processing and was on the General Committee of Accounting and Auditing. His area of expertise lies in management advisory services, consulting in the areas of computer usage, financial management and planning, divorce mediation, acquisition negotiations litigation support and tax planning. |
