Melissa Walker, Senior Vice President, Regulatory, Quality, and Compliance, joined Stereotaxis in March of 2001. Prior to joining Stereotaxis, she led the global regulatory team at Bausch & Lomb Surgical, Inc., a subsidiary of Bausch & Lomb, Inc., and a leading manufacturer of refractive lasers and surgical instruments for the eye, from 1997 to 2000. Prior to Bausch & Lomb Surgical, Inc., Ms. Walker was Director of Regulatory Affairs at Ethicon Endo-Surgery, Inc., a Johnson & Johnson Company and a recognized leader in the manufacture of surgical instruments used for minimally invasive surgery, from 1992 to 1997. She served on the board of directors for the Regulatory Affairs Professionals Society from 1997 to 2002 and was formerly the Board Chairman. Presently, she serves as the industry representative on FDA’s Medical Device Dispute Panel, reviewing and resolving scientific disputes between FDA and device companies. Melissa received a M.S. degree in Zoology and a B.S. in Biology and Animal Science from East Texas State University. |
