Melissa Guzy, Partner. Mrs. Guzy has been an entrepreneur and senior executive in both the investment banking and semiconductor industries for more than 15 years. As a co-founder of Silicon Bandwidth, Inc. (SBI), she spearheaded the Company's advanced semiconductor research and development along with fully automated high-volume manufacturing leading edge products. Mrs. Guzy began her career in investment banking at Prudential Securities, where she successfully led more than $2 billion in structured financing and IPO transactions. As an entrepreneur, she executed multiple public market transactions, and managed P&L's of more than $50 million a year. Mrs. Guzy was instrumental in closing major licensing agreements or partnerships with prominent technology companies such as AMP, Litton, Lucent, National Semiconductor, Three Five Systems, JVC, 3M and LG Group, among others. She has directed the development of innovative designs for MEMS and optical switch applications, as well as the first successful high density interconnect for LCOS displays, and has helped establish industry standards for microdisplays, semiconductor packaging and high-density interconnect devices. She attended Wellesley College and earned a BS in Finance from The University of Florida. Recently, she was selected to participate in an Executive Forum of the Harvard University Graduate School of Business Administration for women in leadership positions.
