"My experiences as a clinical social worker coupled with my legal training suit me to help clients seeking counsel from a family law attorney; a situation which may often involve stressful or emotional issues." Ms. Bean graduated from the University of Utah with a B.A. in Political Science in 1992. She received a Master’s Degree in Social Work with an emphasis in Health and Mental Health in 1997. In 2003, she graduated from the S.J. Quinney College of Law where she served as a senior staff member of the Utah Law Review. Her published comment, Fatal Flaws in the Food and Drug Administration’s Drug Approval Formula, can be found at 2003 Ut. L.Rev. 881. During law school, Ms. Bean tutored fellow students in tort and constitutional law and served as the president of the Women’s Law Caucus. With a fellow classmate, Ms. Bean won Best Brief at the First Amendment Moot Court competition at Vanderbilt University. She has worked as an intern for the Attorney General in the Child Protection and Criminal Appeals divisions. Since graduating from law school, Ms. Bean worked for two years as a law clerk to Justice Ronald E. Nehring of the Utah Supreme Court. She was a volunteer board member from 2003 to 2005 at the Tracy Aviary and is currently a board member on the S.J. Quinney College of Law Young Alumni Board. |
