Melinda Brown is vice president of corporate marketing for all Sanborn office locations.
Ms. Brown has 18 years of front-line management experience in the GIS industry with eight years of strategic planning and 12 years of experience managing conversion projects. She possesses first-hand field knowledge of every aspect of GIS conversion development, implementation, and management.
Ms. Brown comes to Sanborn from Denver-based Space Imaging, LLC, where she was executive director of the satellite imagery company's E-Business division. During her tenure at Space Imaging, Ms. Brown also served as director of marketing and director of acquisition management.
Prior to joining Space Imaging, Ms. Brown was director of strategic relationships worldwide for QC Data, Inc., a data conversion and management firm based in Denver. Before that, she held a number of senior positions in high-technology firms including Seattle-based Labyrinth Corp; Montvale, New Jersey-based Butler International; and Waukesha, Wisconsin-based Intelligraphics.
Ms. Brown holds a bachelor of science degree from the University of Wisconsin, and has completed post graduate studies at Carnegie Mellon University and University of Colorado. |
