Melinda Rogers is Vice President Strategy and Development for Rogers Communications. Ms. Rogers' primary responsibilities are directing and coordinating strategic planning developing growth strategies related to various business competitive and industry conditions and investments that enhance and leverage the broadband and wireless platforms.
Ms. Rogers joined Rogers Communications in September 2000 as Vice President of Venture Investments and was responsible for sourcing developing and managing the venture investments within Rogers Communications. From January 2000 until September 2000 Ms. Rogers served as a consultant in the corporate development arena to RCI. Contributing in a business development and venture investment capacity she assisted in the definition of online and technology related business strategies and generated deal flow for the group of companies.
Prior to joining Rogers Melinda Rogers worked as a Product Manager for Excite@Home a U.S. broadband networking and Media Company based out of Redwood City California City. Her U.S. experience covered product development business development sales and marketing.
Ms. Rogers received her BA from the University of Western Ontario and an MBA from the Joseph L. Rotman School of Business at the University of Toronto.
