Melanie is a native of Jackson, Mississippi, and graduated from Mississippi College with a Bachelor of Business Administration. She also received her Master of Business Administration with Accounting Concentration from Mississippi College. Melanie has also earned Certified Controls Specialist (CCS) and Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) designations. With extensive experience in the banking industry, Melanie is a valuable part of our medical and tax teams. She was responsible for performing Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) reviews, filing Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs), ensuring the bank’s compliance with federal law, and researching irregularities in customer accounts. As a valued member of GranthamPoole’s medical and tax teams, Melanie’s experience will allow her to assist clients in medical practice analysis, internal control and fraud reviews, and productivity studies. Melanie is a member of the National Association of Certified Fraud Examiners and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. She is also a member of the Central Mississippi Chapter of Certified Fraud Examiners, and currently serves on the board of directors. Melanie resides in Flowood and attends Raymond Road Baptist Church. For relaxation, Melanie enjoys crafts, especially scrapbooking, and spending time outdoors with her yellow lab, Canton. |
