Dr. Mehregany is the former Chairman of the Electrical Engineering and Computer Science Department at Case Western Reserve University and serves as the Goodrich Professor of Engineering Innovation. He is Co-Founder and Chairman of FLXmicro, Inc., which commercializes silicon carbide MEMS technologies. He also founded and served as President of Advanced Micromachines Inc. which was acquired by Goodrich Corporation in 1999. He has over 250 publications describing his work, holds 15 U.S. patents, and is the recipient of a number of awards/honors. Mehregany received his Ph.D. in electrical engineering and computer science from MIT, and holds an M.S. from MIT, and a B.S from University of Missouri, both in electrical engineering. |
