Meghan primarily works with Capstrat’s technology and financial services clients, but she’s also experienced in the health care and economic development industries. She combines her expertise in media relations, community relations, event planning and execution with her talent for managing projects efficiently and effectively. Her clients include SunCom Wireless, the North Carolina Department of Justice, Kane Realty and AllOne Health Group. Through relationship-building, orchestrating community and media relations, and event planning, Meghan helped SunCom Wireless implement its community outreach program, SunCom Cares. Meghan’s leadership and initiative helped earn the program a Corporate Education Leadership Award from the North Carolina Technology Association. The program was also a finalist for a 2006 Silver SABRE Award in the telecommunications category. One of Meghan’s favorite projects was coordinating events, media relations and fundraising for RBC Centura’s participation in ABC-TV’s Extreme Makeover: Home Edition project in Georgia. Meghan earned her bachelor's degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a double major in Spanish and journalism and mass communication. As part of her undergraduate experience, she also studied abroad in Seville, Spain. In the community, Meghan volunteers for the ALS Association Jim Catfish Hunter Chapter as an ALS Catfish Classic Golf Tournament planning committee member and participates in cycling fundraisers for the Multiple Sclerosis Society and the American Diabetes Association. |
