Megha joined KLD in July 2005 and works as a Research Analyst II. Megha researches food, beverage, and tobacco companies. In addition, Megha leads the research responsibilities for KLD's Global Climate 100 Index and manages KLD's partnership with the international SiRi consortium. Megha also created KLD's organics rating and participates on KLD's internal sustainability committee.
Prior to joining KLD, Megha worked on nutrition and physical activity policy and worksite wellness programs with the California State Public Health Officer. Megha also worked in Ecuador and Costa Rica as a researcher/writer for Let's Go Publications, a budget travel guide company.
Megha received her B.A. in Bioethics and Policy from Harvard University, where she conducted independent research on the environmental principles of the United Nations Global Compact and worked on campus sustainability issues with the Harvard Green Campus Initiative. Megha also studied abroad at the University of New South Wales in Sydney, Australia. She is fluent in Spanish and Gujarati and has a good understanding of Hindi.
In her spare time, Megha volunteers with the Young Jains of America and runs with the Greater Boston Track Club. |
