Mead has over 15 years experience in finance, start-up and technology oriented companies and is a management consultant in finance, business development and capital formation. In 1993 he joined Genetic Vectors and became CEO and CFO of the company which was a genomics company in Miami, Florida. He authored the company's strategic business plans, developing the strategy to spin the company out from its parent company through an IPO. In addition, he served as a founding board of directors member of BioFlorida and is a current member of the state's biotechnology trade organization. Prior to Genetic Vectors, Mr. McCabe was with Merrill Lynch as a financial consultant. He has a dual MBA in International Business and Finance from the University of Miami, Florida. |
