Dr. Evarts has been a Director of the Company since 2000. Dr. Evarts is Senior Vice President & Vice Provost for Health Affairs and Medical Center CEO at the University of Rochester. Dr. Evarts previously was the University Professor for the Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine and Chief Executive Officer of The Milton S. Hershey Medical Center as well as the Senior Vice President for Health Affairs and Dean, College of Medicine (Emeritus). Previously, Dr. Evarts served as Professor and Chair of the Department of Orthopaedics at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry and Medical Center and Vice President for Development. Prior to that, he was Chair of the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation. Dr. Evarts holds an A.B. degree from Colgate University. He graduated from the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry and served his internship and residency at the University of Rochester Strong Memorial Hospital. Dr. Evarts is a former Director of The Hershey Foods Corporation, Hershey Trust, and Carpenter Technology. |
