Charles F. McElwee is a shareholder of Dickie, McCamey & Chilcote, P.C. He concentrates his practice in Workers’ Compensation. Mr. McElwee counsels insurance carriers and self-insured entities on workers’ compensation and the development and implementation of risk management procedures. He has extensive experience in the trial of workers’ compensation matters and has successfully argued the same before the Appeal Board, Commonwealth Court, and Superior Court. A member of the Dauphin County and Pennsylvania Bar Associations, Mr. McElwee is admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania and the United States District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania. He belongs to the Workers’ Compensation Sector of the Pennsylvania Bar Association. Mr. McElwee graduated with honors from the University of Scranton in 1976 with a bachelor’s degree in Liberal Arts and earned his Juris Doctorate from Duquesne University School of Law in 1981. Mr. McElwee has served as a faculty member of the Insurance Society of Philadelphia. He has authored and lectured extensively on a variety of topics and issues involving the Pennsylvania Workers’ Compensation Act. |
