Maynard Sipe is an attorney in LeClairRyan's Real Estate Practice Group and is also a certified planner. He practices primarily in the areas of land use, zoning and land development. Mr. Sipe has assisted clients in obtaining rezonings and special use permits, and has represented clients before Architectural Review Boards and Boards of Zoning Appeals. His practice covers a large geographical area, as he is familiar with numerous localities throughout Central Virginia, Northern Virginia and the Shenandoah Valley. Mr. Sipe graduated from the University of Virginia with a Bachelors of City Planning and subsequently worked as a Planner for Albemarle County, Virginia. He then attended and graduated from Washington and Lee University School of Law, where he served as Editor-in-Chief of the Environmental Law Digest. Mr. Sipe is admitted to the Virginia State Bar. He is a member of the American Bar Association, the Virginia Bar Association, the Prince William County Bar Association, the American Institute of Certified Planners, the American Planning Association, and is an active member of the Virginia Chapter of the American Planning Association.
