Maxine L. Savitz, a director at the Washington Advisory Group, advises on research and development management, energy and environmental policy, materials development, production and utilization, and technology transfer. Dr. Savitz is the former Deputy Assistant Secretary for Conservation, U.S. Department of Energy. She subsequently held executive positions in Lighting Research Institute, The Garrett Corporation, AlliedSignal Ceramic Components, and Honeywell International. Dr. Savitz is a member of the National Academy of Engineering, the National Science Board, and the Secretary of Energy Advisory Board.
