Fiore brings over twenty-five years of medical device industry experience to OmniSonics, providing leadership for the company's Research & Development and Operations functions. During his career he has managed the development of over sixty new medical products. Prior to joining OmniSonics, Fiore was Vice President of Research and Development at Smith & Nephew Endoscopy, with responsibility for developing a broad array of devices for endoscopic surgery. Prior to Smith & Nephew he was Vice President of Engineering at Aradigm Corporation, where he had responsibility for development of pulmonary drug delivery systems and manufacturing automation. Fiore also had experience at LifeScan, Inc. a Johnson & Johnson Company, where he developed portable blood glucose monitoring systems, and held management positions at Abbott Laboratories in the hospital products and diagnostic divisions.
Fiore received a B.S. in Engineering, a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Northwestern University, and a M.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin at Madison. |
