Max Justice has extensive experience in regulatory and administrative law and has represented clients in federal and state courts and agencies, with special emphasis on proceedings involving environmental issues.
Mr. Justice is general environmental counsel for national manufacturers and other companies. He regularly advises clients on environmental matters, including the following:
Defense of toxic torts, environmental property damage and personal injury claims
Environmental audits for compliance reviews and for due diligence in transactions
Compliance with RCRA hazardous waste requirements
Negotiations with state and federal agencies

Environmental permitting issues
SARA Title III compliance
Clean Air Act compliance
State Air Toxics compliance
Wastewater discharge permitting
Defense of Notices of Violation and enforcement actions
Corporate strategic planning to achieve and maintain environmental compliance and avoid crisis reaction
Mr. Justice frequently lectures and participates in seminars on environmental law and compliance issues.
While at Wake Forest University, Mr. Justice was the associate editor of the Wake Forest Law Review.
