Mauricio Larráin Garcés has been President of Banco Santander Santiago since the merger and previous to that has was in charge of Grupo Santander’s Chilean businesses since 1992. Mr. Larraín is also on the board of the Santiago Stock Exchange and the Chilean Banking Association. He was also past President of ICARE. Mr. Larráin was also Vice-Superintendent of the Superintendence of Bank and Financial Institutions, Manager of Foreign Debt at the Chilean Central Bank and Senior Financial Specialist at the World Bank. Mr. Larráin has a law degree from the Universidad Católica de Chile, a Law Degree from Harvard University and is a candidate for a Masters Degree in Economics from the Universidad Católica de Chile. |
