Maurice Leibenstern - General Counsel & Corporate Secretary and Senior Vice President Development
Maurice brings more than 20 years of high tech legal experience to Rackable Systems. Most recently he was Chief Legal Counsel for Worldwide Sales at CA (formerly Computer Associates NYSE: CA) while serving as an SVP and member of the company’s Senior Leadership Team. Maurice’s service at CA spanned 10 years where he held key roles in the Intellectual Property and Products & Sales practices. He was responsible for rebuilding CA’s legal department while streamlining their direct and indirect licensing practices for the Americas . He also served as Lead Counsel for CA and its Board of Directors during the company’s government investigation in 2003 and 2004. Prior to CA Maurice worked at IBM providing strategic legal support for IBM’s eCommerce PSP computing and Advanced Workstation divisions. He holds a J.D. from New York University School of Law. |
