Mr. Stone brings over 25 years of management experience to Intrepid. He began his career at IBM and moved from there to form and manage multiple, successful businesses. He has assisted companies in business financing, planning, market analysis, and the activities needed in structuring a successful business. He has served as a principal, business manager, or significant shareholder in of successfully funded private and public enterprises.
He has served as CEO of Intrepid Holdings since April 27, 2005. Prior to that, from June 2002 to April 2005 he was CEO of Cornerstone Services Group, a retail pharmacy services company. From January 2001 to May 2002, Mr. Stone served as Chairman and CEO of First Genesis Professional Services, an IT development and solutions company, located in Houston, Texas, where he remains a shareholder. Prior experience includes: Vice President of Intelligent Medicine in Houston, Texas; Chief Operating Officer of Telemedicine Solutions International in Silver Springs, Maryland and Vice President of Power M Cable in Denver, Colorado.
Mr. Stone is a sought after speaker on economic development, community development, and other prominent socio-economic issues. Mr. Stone earned his B.S. degree in electrical engineering from Memphis State University, received training and certifications in Finance, Marketing, and Business Administration from IBM’s Corporate Training School (Endicott, NY, Cambridge, MA, and Irving, TX), and he attends multiple finance and business strategy seminars, classes, and training sessions. He is married with 3 children. |
