Maurice J. Spagnoletti joined The South Financial Group in May 2006 as President, Carolina First Bank/SC responsible for the South Carolina Market Presidents and South Carolina operations.Mr. Spagnoletti has over 30 years experience in the financial services industry. Mr. Spagnoletti joined TSFG from Fifth Third Bank where he served for the past four years as President and Chief Executive Officer for Central Indiana. Prior to Fifth Third, Mr. Spagnoletti served as a Regional President and Chief Executive Officer with Summit Bank of New Jersey and in various roles with The Trust Company of New Jersey, First Jersey National Bank, and Commercial Trust Company of New Jersey. Mr. Spagnoletti graduated from St. Peters College and holds a MBA from Fairleigh Dickinson University. |
