Maureen Kowalski is a shareholder of Dickie, McCamey & Chilcote, P.C. She concentrates her practice in the area of Insurance Defense, with a particular emphasis in Workers’ Compensation and Food and Beverage Industry Law. Ms. Kowalski is a member of the American, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, and Allegheny County Bar Associations. She is admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania, Supreme Court of Appeals of West Virginia, United States District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania, and United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Kowalski served as a Claims Specialist for Reliance Insurance Company, Claims Specialist for Workers’ Compensation, Supervisor for Home Insurance Company, and Claims Specialist for CNA Insurance Company. Ms. Kowalski graduated from Duquesne University in 1977 with a B.S. in Business Administration. She received her J.D. from Duquesne University in 1990. Ms. Kowalski has been named in the current edition of The Best Lawyers in America. She is a frequent lecturer on workers’ compensation issues and has been elected and serves as a council member for the Allegheny County Bar Association - Workers' Compensation Section. Also, she is active in local activities and sits on the Board for the Bethel Park Recreation Swim Team Parents Association. |
