Maureen P. Corcoran is executive vice president and chief purchasing officer responsible for overseeing all of State Street’s purchasing activities on a global basis, and driving value in relationships with suppliers. She also oversees the Document Solutions function which includes print and mail operations.
Ms. Corcoran joined State Street in 1989 as a client service officer in the Mutual Funds Division with responsibility for a large portfolio of major client relationships. In the subsequent years, she held various roles of increasing responsibility in Operations Management, Sales and Marketing, and Client Consulting. She was selected to join the newly created Strategy Development Office in 2002 as leader of the cross enterprise initiative responsible for reviewing the effectiveness of the professional services functions across State Street.
Prior to joining State Street, Ms. Corcoran spent seven years with PricewaterhouseCoopers, in Hartford, CT and Hamilton, Bermuda, and several years as director of auditing for the John Hancock Property and Casualty Insurance Group. She is a graduate of Providence College and a Certified Public Accountant.
Ms. Corcoran serves on the Alumni Board of Governors at Providence College, the Parish Reconfiguration Fund for the Archdiocese of Boston and the Board of Directors of the William T. Blackwell Foundation.
