Tiger Wessels was appointed Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of UTi Worldwide in May 2004 following a five-year tenure as Chairman. One of the founders of our company, he has served as Chief Executive Officer of the Africa Region and a Director since our formation in 1995. Mr. Wessels has also served as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Uniserv since 1987. Previously, he served in various executive capacities for WTC International N.V. When the South African interests of WTC International N.V. were separated from its other operations in 1987, Mr. Wessels continued as the Chief Executive Officer of the South African operations until these operations were combined with Uniserv later that year. Mr. Wessels received a B.S. from the University of Natal and an M.B.A. from the University of Cape Town. |
