Dr. Kurth brings 15 years of experience in multifunctional areas including regulatory affairs, manufacturing, clinical trials and clinical practice. He was most recently the Vice President of Medical Affairs for Ceregene, a biotech company developing gene therapy for neurodegenerative diseases. Prior to Ceregene, Dr. Kurth was the Vice President of Medical Affairs and Technical Operations for Questcor, a specialty pharmaceutical company that focuses on CNS disorders. During his tenure at Questcor he successfully designed and implemented the technology transfer programs for two medically significant products, Acthar and Ethaminol. Dr. Kurth has held related positions at other companies including Axys Pharmaceuticals, Allergan and i3 Research. He is a board certified Neurologist. He received his MD and PhD in Cell Biology from Baylor University and a BA from Rice University. |
