Matthew Gast is a nationally-recognized expert on issues related to wireless networking. He currently serves as Corporate Systems Engineer at Trapeze Networks. Prior to Trapeze, Mr. Gast was a member of the business development team at NetScreen, where he worked with strategic partners. His most recent book, .802.11 Wireless Networks: The Definitive Guide. (O.Reilly, April 2002), is a well-respected and best-selling reference on that rapidly emerging technology. Mr. Gast has assisted the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) in developing wireless LAN security recommendations for the U.S. federal government. He is also an active participant in the Wireless LAN Security Initiative at the Interop La (iLa), where he works to deploy cutting-edge wireless LAN security solutions. |
