With a focus in the pharmaceutical and financial industries, Matt’s expertise includes database and system design, and web enablement within distributed and MVS environments. He has 15 years experience using SAS, JAVA and COBOL.Prior to joining the firm, he held a Project Leader and Developer position at the Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation. In that capacity, he designed systems, coordinated the writing of technical specifications , developed project plans and schedules, and managed application and systems programmers in the development of web and mainframe applications. He also acted as RACF administrator and as SAS representative for the company.Mr. Casella began his career as a programmer at IBM, following graduation from Manhattan College in Riverdale, New York with a B.A. in Computer Science. Career distinctions include the publishing a paper on using SAS extended tables to dynamically generate JCL to create historical databases from generation data groups (GDGs), and presenting it at the 17th annual SAS Users Group International (SUGI) Conference. He also has Lectured on using EIS to implement management goals at the SUGI 18 Proceedings in New York. |
