Mr. Shankle was appointed as the Company's President effective September 11, 1998 and as a Director effective October 3, 1997 from which time he also served as a Vice President of the Company. He is responsible for the overall day-to-day operations and strategic direction of the Company in
conjunction with the Board of Directors. From June 1996 to September 1997, he served as a consultant to the Company for product research and development (R&D). He is also currently responsible for leading the business development effort of the Company. From 1995 to 1997, Mr. Shankle served as an operations
consultant for several high tech R&D/manufacturing subsidiaries of Telxon Corporation, a NASDAQ listed company. From 1992 to 1995, Mr. Shankle was employed by Virtual Vision, Inc. as the R&D/manufacturing facility development specialist. Mr. Shankle began his career at Lockheed Missiles and Space in the San Diego area. |
