Mr. Grill's practice also focuses on bankruptcy, workouts and creditors’ rights in all legal arenas, including bankruptcy court, federal district and appellate courts and state courts. Representative Transactions: Represented developer in the assemblage, acquisition, development and financing of a 253-lot lakefront subdivision located on Goose Pond Island in Scottsboro, Alabama. Represented developer in the acquisition and redevelopment of the 50-acre site of the Southeast's first indoor shopping mall. Represented national investor in the acquisition, financing and selling of retail and office properties located in Alabama, Georgia, North Carolina, Florida, Louisiana and Oklahoma involving tenants such as McDonald's, Chick-fil-A, Longhorn Steakhouse, Starbucks, Duke Medical and Deaconess Medical. Represented developer in the assemblage, acquisition, development and financing of multi-phase residential subdivision adjacent to Grand National Golf Course in Opelika, Alabama. Represented developer in the acquisition, development and financing of lakefront subdivisions located on Smith Lake in Walker County, Alabama and on Lake Mitchell in Coosa County, Alabama. Represented manufacturing facility in connection with obtaining a $300,000,000 syndicated credit facility.
