Matthew Hollifield was named senior vice president and chief accounting officer in November 2005 and is responsible for corporate accounting, product accounting, corporate trades payable, inventory control, expenses payable and general accounting functions. Hollifield joined Lowe's in 2002 as vice president of corporate accounts payable and has nearly 20 years experience in finance, accounting, strategic planning and public accounting.
Hollifield has a bachelor's degree in business administration from Appalachian State University and earned an M.B.A. from Duke University. He is a certified public accountant.
