Matt Schneider practices in the Corporate Practice Group in the St. Louis, Missouri office of Husch & Eppenberger, LLC. Matt represents clients ranging from closely held businesses to large publicly traded companies.
General Corporate. Matt assists clients with entity selection, joint ventures, acquisitions, dispositions, mergers, shareholder meetings, management contracts, buy-sell agreements and succession planning. Matt also provides on-going advice and counsel on day-to-day operational, business, and legal issues.
Securities. Matt advises clients on issues relating to the Securities Act of 1933, the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, the Investment Company Act of 1940, and the Investment Adviser Act of 1940. Matt's securities law practice includes the preparation of (i) documents related to public securities offerings, (ii) periodic reports, such as proxy statements, and annual reports to shareholders, and (iii) 1934 SEC filings for public companies, including Forms 10-K, 10-Q and 8-K, and filings for officers, directors and major shareholders of reporting companies.
