Matthew joined Gunderson, Palmer, Goodsell & Nelson, LLP in 2006 after a two-year clerkship with Chief Judge Karen E. Schreier, of the United States District Court, District of South Dakota.Matthew graduated from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law in 2004. While in law school, he completed internships at the United States Department of Justice and the San Francisco District Attorney's Office. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Wisconsin - Madison. Before he began practicing law, Matthew was a fundraiser for several non profit organizations and political candidates.Matthew is a member of the State Bar of South Dakota, the State Bar of California and the Pennington County Bar Association. He enjoys running marathons, skiing, and other outdoor activities. Matthew also participates as a fundraiser for the YMCA and the Rushmore Rotary Club. |
