Matthew P. Cullen is an associate in the firm’s Banking Department. He has extensive experience representing lenders in secured financing transactions, specializing in mortgages on multi-family housing as well as the financing of commercial office buildings and shopping centers. Mr. Cullen negotiates and documents loans for commercial lending institutions all over the country. In addition to the transactional end, he provides advice to major institutional clients on drafting and re-writing all phases of loan documentation, including commitment letters, notes, mortgages and agreements with third parties. He regularly provides advice to the firm’s commercial banking clients to ensure continuing compliance with federal and state regulations governing lending and mortgages. Mr. Cullen is a member of the New York State Bar Association and the New York County Lawyers’ Association, as well as the Nassau County Former Assistant District Attorneys Association, having previously served as an Assistant District Attorney in the Nassau County District Attorney’s Office from 1998-2002. He is also a member of the Firm’s Hiring Committee. |
