Matthew M. McDonald joined the firm in 1999 and is a partner in the firm's Corporate and Securities Practice Group. Matt represents public and private clients in a variety of corporate and securities matters, including securities offerings, mergers and acquisitions, PIPEs transactions, divestitures and general corporate matters.

Represented an offshore reinsurer in connection with the disposition of its reinsurance business for approximately $92.0 million.
Represented a division of a public company in its acquisition by merger of a fulfillment and magazine distribution business for approximately $92.0 million.
Represented a lifestyle merchandising company in a $55.0 million public offering of its common shares.
Represented the underwriter in a $63.25 million trust preferred offering for a regional bank.
Represented the acquirer of an excess and surplus lines insurance business in a transaction valued at approximately $30.0 million.
Represented various hedge funds in PIPEs investments ranging from $5.0 to $50.0 million.
Represented various public reporting companies regarding SEC reporting obligations, Sarbanes-Oxley compliance, and general corporate matters.
In General. Matt received his law degree from the University of Pennsylvania in May 1999. He graduated from Texas A&M University with a degree in management in 1996. Matt is admitted to practice law in Pennsylvania. |
