Mr. Linton grew up in Breckenridge, Colorado and attended the University of Colorado at Boulder earning a B.A., magna cum laude, in Philosophy. In 2000, Mr. Linton founded and operated an internet media and publishing company in San Francisco, California. He obtained his J.D. from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law where he was the Technology Editor of the Transportation Law Journal and research assistant to Prof. Ann Scales. At the College of Law, Mr. Linton received Scholastic Excellence Awards for the highest grades in administrative law and contracts.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Linton was a law clerk for the Honorable Mary J. Mullarkey, Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Colorado. He is admitted to practice in Colorado and he is a member of the American and Colorado Bar Associations. Mr. Linton is also a cooperating attorney with the Electronic Frontier Foundation.
Mr. Linton spends his time outside the practice of law with his wife, Alena, enjoying the beautiful environment of Colorado. Formerly a nationally-ranked junior ski racer, he also actively participates in competitive Épée fencing.
Mr. Linton's practice includes the areas of medical and legal malpractice defense, general appellate practice, healthcare law, technology law, constitutional law, and defense of federal civil rights actions against correctional healthcare providers. |
