Matthew J. Miller is an associate in the firm’s Public Finance Department. Mr. Miller joined Chapman and Cutler LLP in 2007, and focuses his practice on serving as bond counsel and underwriter’s counsel for state and local governmental entities on various transactions. Prior to joining Chapman and Cutler, Mr. Miller was employed by the law firm of Squire, Sanders & Dempsey in Columbus, Ohio where he concentrated in public finance. Mr. Miller’s transaction experience includes the representation of the state agencies, various counties, cities, villages, port authorities, townships, park districts, new community authorities and other governmental entities in connection with the financing and refinancing of capital improvement projects. These projects included general obligation financings, tax increment financings, advance refundings, private activity financings for 501(c)(3) entities, revenue financings and special obligation financings. |
